Dr Hui, Pui Hung 許沛鴻
I received my PhD in Psychology from the University of Cambridge in 2017. Prior to joining the University of Hong Kong, I was a post-doctoral research associate at the Department of Sociology, the University of Cambridge, working on the PRIVMORT project which investigates the relationship between mass privatization and mortality in post-communist Eastern Europe, led by Prof. Lawrence P. King.
Most broadly, I endeavor to take an interdisciplinary approach and apply various quantitative methods (e.g., meta-analysis, event-sampling method, diary study, longitudinal study, social experiment, and machine learning) to research topics centered on well-being, prosociality, globalization, migration, and acculturation.
