Dr Ho, Jason Ka Hang 何家珩
DR. JASON HO coordinates the department's internship program and teaches courses on films, literature, critical theory, queer studies, and urban culture. His teaching and research interests include Asian cinema, film and cultural studies, gender and sexuality, queer studies, and popular culture. He has published in LGBT Transnational Identity in Media: Post Colonial Post Queer (Palgrave Macmillan 2012), the inaugural issue of Trespassing Journal (2012), and In Critical Proximity: The Visual Memories of Stanley Kwan (in Chinese, Joint Publishing 2007), among others. He is currently working on post-queer discourses and contemporary East Asian films, with a specific focus on their circulations and New Korean/Taiwan Cinema. He is also developing new research interests in gay activism, minority rights, and disability studies.
