Biography
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Hong Kong. My research falls mainly into the areas of Metaphysics, Philosophy of Language, and Philosophy of Science. I also have interests in Epistemology, History of Modern Philosophy, Metaethics, and Philosophy of Logic.

Much of my recent work has focused on the nature of truth; my book The Primitivist Theory of Truth defends the view that truth is an undefinable primitive concept. I have also published on the topics of deflationary truth, moral realism, scientific realism, Tarski, modality, theories of ontological commitment, presentism, and truthmaker theory.
