Dr Pable, Adrian Marco
Adrian Pablé joined the School of English in August 2009, where he teaches for the programmes in 'English Studies' and 'Language and Communication'. Previously he taught at the Swiss Universities of Lausanne, Neuchâtel and Berne, and did part of his postgraduate studies at the University of Ottawa, Canada. His current interests lie in communication theory, integrational linguistics, semiotics, and philosophy/history of linguistics. His previous publications were in the fields of dialectology, historical linguistics, sociolinguistics and literary translation.
Adrian Pablé is the Secretary of the International Association for the Integrational Study of Language and Communication (IAISLC). He is an Associate Editor of the journal Language Sciences and a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Language & Communication. He was the organizer of the international conference 'Integrationism & Humanism' held in Switzerland (June 2014).
