Dr. Liu, Xiaohong is an associate professor of accounting at the University of Hong Kong. She earned her PhD from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Liu has taught many courses for undergraduate, MBA, and PhD students, including financial accounting, international accounting, and analytical accounting research, and won Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence. Her research interests include economics of auditing, managerial incentives, and financial disclosures. She has published in academic journals including Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics. One of her articles won Emerald Citation of Excellence Award.
