Dr Poolton, Jamie Matthew 寶占美
Jamie completed his PhD in the Institute of Human Performance and holds a First Class Honours Degree from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, University of Birmingham, UK. His PhD explored the interaction between implicit and explicit processes in skill acquisition and focused on the potential performance benefits of learning paradigms that promote the contribution of implicit processes, while minimising the contribution of explicit processes. The performance benefits of implicit motor learning include robust skill execution when performers are fatigued, distracted, making complex decisions or under pressure and his current work continues to pursue the development and the practical application of such techniques.
