Objectives
Identify risk factors for breast cancer among women by comparing the cerumen phenotypes, dietary habits, and degree of proliferative breast epithelium in Hong Kong women versus women of various ethnic backgrounds in San Francisco. Also to see whether proliferative breast epithelium, which will be measured by cytological study of nipple-aspirated breast fluid, is a marker of higher risk for breast cancer or breast disease.
