To compare the prevalence of childhood hyperactivity in the Hong Kong Chinese population with that encountered in epidemiological studies in London; to study psychopathology, aetiology and significance of hyperactivity in Hong Kong children, with particular regard to possible fundamental distinction between hyperactivity that is pervasive across situations and that which is specific to a particular setting.
