Objectives
To test the action of bioengineered active fragments of Stanniocalcin (the hypocalcemic hormone secreted by the Stannius corpuscles) on a number of eel systems for calcium/phosphate transport activities with particular reference to the mobilization of Ca/P from the bone to the gonads during this terminal stage of the eel's life history.
