Objectives
To find out the general investment climate in China (Hong Kong) and the problem that Hong Kong (Chinese) investors face. From the experience of Hong Kong - China economic integration, we shall attempt to draw some theoretical implications for foreign direct investment activities, the formation of regional and sub-regional economic zones, and the phenomenon of economic synergy. On the practical side, implications of capital flows between China and Hong Kong for their economic prospects will be analysed.
