Objectives
1) To investigate the impact of the RMB exchange rate reform in 2005 on national trend of property prices in China; 2) To investigate the spatial pattern of the impact of the 2005 RMB exchange rate reform on regional property price trends across China; 3) To investigate the impact of the fiscal independence of local governments on regional property prices trends across China; 4) To investigate the degree of local government autonomy on the spatial pattern of the impact described in (3) above.
