Objectives
2) To identify and investigate the specific learning ingredients that engage students in the development of generic skills in selected out-of-class, extra-curricular and in-class learning experiences. 3) To investigate students’ development of generic skills as a learning outcome of the selected out-of-class, extra-curricular and in-class learning experiences. This includes investigating: (a) the intended learning outcomes of each experience based on course/programme materials; (b) the actual learning outcomes based on student perception and collection of direct evidence; and (c) any discrepancy between (a) and (b). 4) To explore the relationship between the learning experience, specific learning ingredients, student engagement/participation and the generic skills learning outcome.
