Objectives
1) The first objective of the proposed project is to advance understanding of how state-of-the-art learning analytics technology can be used effectively to help teachers learn about effective classroom talk and improve their instructional practice. 2) The second objective is to investigate whether the changes in teachers’ practice brought about by the new technology will promote more engaged classroom participation by students and deep learning of mathematics content, as well as exert lasting effects on students’ mathematics achievement.
