Objectives
1) To develop new power conversion circuits to receive the energy from the WHFAC distribution system. The study will cover topological analysis, system modelling and control analysis. The performance and limitations of the new circuits will be explicitly analyzed; 2) To construct the proof-of-concept prototypes and carry out experimental verifications. The design procedures of the receivers and the components selection will be formulated. The practical issues such as major EMI sources, thermal hot spots and packaging design recommendations will also be discussed.
