2 To elucidate the roles of peroxynitrite in the activating HMGB1 signaling and inducing BBB disruption and hemorrhagic transformation during thrombolysis. 3 To test the hypothesis that preventing peroxynitrite-mediated HMGB1 release can be an adjunct therapeutic strategy to reduce t-PA-induced BBB disruption and HT in ischemic stroke treatment: Using Baicalin as an example.
