Objectives
The current project features NF membranes with excellent divalent to monovalent ion selectivity. Coupled with high water permeability and low fouling tendency, these novel NF membranes enable a wide variety of environmental and industrial applications. Prominent applications include low-energy wastewater reclamation, high-efficiency pretreatment for desalination, sulfate removal for cooling tower water, industrial wastewater treatment and resource recovery (e.g., mining wastewater), and landfill leachate treatment.
