Aims 1. To investigate the demographic and clinical profile of suicide attempts / patients with DSH in the Accident and Emergency Department (AED) of Queen Mary Hospital (QMH). 2. To examine the utilisation of healthcare and psycho-social services amongst suicide attempts / patients with DSH; 3. To identify any unmet service needs amongst the DSH patients and obstacles associated with access to and during the pathway of care; 4. To make recommendations on which areas of service can be improved to meet the needs of people at risk of taking their own lives.
