1. To extend FOSSIM (Food Safety and Supply Chain information Management System / Portal) (Remark#1) and to develop decision-support applications, monitoring applications, auto alert applications that are easy to configure and customize to suit various stakeholder requirements for food quality management at an affordable cost; 2. To establish a real time sensing information infrastructure Sensor Data Cloud (SDC) to facilitate the collection, integration and dissemination of required real time sensing data; 3. To research wireless sensing technologies so as to enhance the capability of accommodating large amount of sensors, communicating with various models of sensors and at clustered environment.
